As every web site is different so the cost of designing each site will vary:
The aim here is to give you an indication of what your site might cost.
As a general rule, allow about £75 per page. Before any work is commenced
you will given a firm and final price for your project which will only change if you
change the specifications.
As your business is constantly developing, so your web site always needs to
be kept up to date. Most updates are small and very quick to administer - about
10 minutes. The hourly rate is £25 with
a minimum charge of £10. Occasional updates will be covered by this
charge whilst for a regular update service a monthly, quarterly or annual charge may be
more cost effective. Alternatively, you or a member of your
staff can be trained to perform the updates.
For the first month after your site is
published all editing is free (subject to there being no major changes to
the structure of your site).
Web sites are not static publications. You should budget for updates.
Please see the relevant pages on hosting and domain
name registration for the fees involved for those services.
So now you have an idea what it is going to cost to name
your site, give it a home, design
it and keep it up to date. All that remains is to
pick up the phone or send
an email to get your project underway.
